Ride to the Trial: 4 Bikers Killed
( 1 Vote )
This ride is to support the prosecution of Paul Sermons, and the families of the 4 bikers killed on CR 476 in March. Paul Sermons, a drunk driver, attempted to pass a car and hit two bikes head on. The four people on the bikes were killed. At the last trial date, bikers filled the courtroom as well as a parking lot outside to show their support. Sermons is being held on four counts of vehicular homicide/DUI, the next trial date is October 13th, 2010, at the Sumter County Courthouse in Bushnell, Florida. Rides are being set up for people wishing to attend the trial "Because it matters to us." Anyone that can come to show their support are asked to attend to support the families of the victims and to let local and state governments know that people who ride motorcycles are tired of being treated unequally. Offenders that kill and maim motorcyclists often receive a slap on the wrist. On October 13th, 2010, two group rides are currently organized to attend the Paul Sermons trial at the Sumter County Courthouse in Bushnell, Florida. Read more... Add new comment
