State Department includes Arizona in Human Rights report to the U.N.
It is "downright offensive" that a state law would be
included in the report, Brewer, a Republican nearly guaranteed re-election as a
result of the legal dispute, wrote to Clinton.
"The idea of our own American government submitting the duly enacted laws of a
state of the United States to 'review' by the United Nations is internationalism
run amok and unconstitutional," she said.

Rockin' the ABATE Campground for Leesburg Bikefest - 2010

Once again the Lake County ABATE campground was a huge success for Leesburg Bikefest, 2010. Each year more people talk about how it was really "Goin on" out there, and each year it gets bigger. A new field was opened for 2010 expanding the campground size by almost double and still, it was filled by early evening on Friday.

Some of the local bikers, a few working for the city, decided to step in to help. They knew the Leesburg Bikefest was a good thing and they wanted to get involved, so they did. The Vets had a big box on display to show people what they send. The box was stuffed with large individually lock plastic bags containing all sorts of items the troops can't get while over there. While looking at some of the items, you can see right away how good we have it compared to those serving overseas. They have two shops. One located in Belleview, FL, at 5703 S.E. US HWY 441, and the other in Wildwood, FL, at 405 N. Main Street. They also have a mobile unit which is event ready. They're normally set up behind Gohstriders Saloon in Belleview on Sundays. Stew boasts a clean, sober and safe shop. Having visited them several times we've never had a reason to doubt it. Each year the Leesburg Bikefest gets bigger, the campgrounds seem to shrink, the bands are better, and the bikefest's reputation for being police friendly gets better. In the beginning, about 14 years ago, if anyone can remember, it wasn't quite that way. Things were a bit unorganized.
On Saturday, April 11th, the Vietnam Veterans and Legacy MC held their event at Ghostriders Saloon in Belleview, FL, to raise postage money for the troops serving in the Middle East. They had a great turn out and at least a couple hundred people attended.
Iron Tattoos owned by Stew, had two mobile units set up for the Leesburg Bikefest. One down town and the other at the ABATE campground. Stew runs his business with a family atmosphere and everyone is biker friendly.
The Rebar, a biker friendly bar on Highway 41 at the North end of Brooksville, Florida, held their first biker night on Wednesday, April 14th and had a great turnout. Many may not know it yet but the bar was recently purchased by Wanted Magazine and has been increasingly popular lately. They always have a good crowd and the staff are friendly and efficient.Where Visitors Came From Today
