We're always watching the Daytona Bikeweek sites when deciding what to cover and what not to cover. Like everyone, hopefully, we all have real jobs so extra time is tough.
The past few weeks we've been following the stories on Ms. Bikeweek.com and watching their website, Bikeweek.com. Our first stop was to track her and her promotional team down and see what this was all about. As far as we know, she is the first Ms. Bikeweek.com and we wanted to bring you something new for a change. Not the same old stuff from years past; that's another story.
We found Ms. Bikeweek.com and the team in South Daytona on US 1 so we stopped to introduce ourselves.

Our day in Daytona started with a 100 mile stretch to the East. It's a nice ride but one repeated many time through the years. Bikeweek is always worth the trip so we thought we'd share the journey with our readers.
This time we decided to go through Deland and pick up 92. Having done this before, we were reminded of the Saturday morning traffic jam starting west of I-95. It didn't take too long to get through and is always seems you can make a few friends in one, so that's what we did.

When I got older, I realized that I wanted to be a doctor. I went through college, medical school, internship, residency, and finally got my degree, so I was Fred Johnson, MD. After a while I got bored being a doctor, so I decided to go back to school.

Wow, we woke up Saturday, February 27th, to cold and rain. Things were not looking good but a promise was made and had to be kept. Several trees had fallen in the Spring Hill, Florida, cemetery and someone was needed to help clean it up. It's an old cemetery with very little income. The caretaker couldn't afford a professional service. Additionally, several of the graves and the wooden fence were damaged.

Sensible Gun Registration Plan in Vermont |

Vermont State Rep. Fred Maslack has read the Second Amendment to the U.S. Constitution, as well as Vermont 's own Constitution very carefully, and his strict interpretation of these documents is popping some eyeballs in New England and elsewhere.
Maslack recently proposed a bill to register "non-gun-owners" and require them to pay a $500 fee to the state. Thus Vermont would become the first state to require a permit for the luxury of going about unarmed and assess a fee of $500 for the privilege of not owning a gun.
